Two years ago, I had a dream. I wanted to be a Mandarin teacher in a foreign country, so I could enjoy my exchange life as long as I work. It was a concrete dream, I knew exactly what I wanted, but I didn't have a way to realize it, until AIESEC came into my life.

8 months ago, I landed on Mexico as an AIESEC intern very passionate and super excited to have my first class and to meet my students. The first encounter was impactful. I would never forget how all my 10 students dashed to me shouting that I should not give them a quiz before a chapter starts. Neither would I forget the fun time we shared on the field trip in a Chinese restaurant.

Now, I am the coordinator of cultural events and the Mandarin course designer at the university, with an offer to stay for a permanent academic position.
